Rhododendron (Mollis Azalia) ‘Doloroso’ P9/C1

This is one of the most beautiful varieties of azaleas. It blooms at the end of May. Large red flowers, over 6 cm in diameter. The originality of the flowers is given by long stamens protruding above the petals. This shrub grows up to 1-1.2 m high and 1.5 m wide after a few years. The plant habit is compact, spherical or hemispherical, slightly flattened. ‘Doloroso’ grows moderately fast. Live-green, seasonal leaves that change color in the fall.
