Undemanding shrub, it tolerates any type of substrate and does well in polluted places. In order to bear fruit, we plant a male and female specimen. Hippophae rhamnoides is one of the few plants containing about 10% of fatty oil in the fruit flesh. In addition, it is rich in micronutrients and vitamins B, K and P, vitamins E and C, folic acid, provitamin A and D. It is important that vitamin C in hippophae rhamnoides does not decompose even within processing and storage. Mainly used for preserves, but also in cosmetics.
